What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable software solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of Roku's streaming services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and UX/UI design, to define and refine product requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with cloud technologies and container orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A track record of delivering high-quality software on time and within budget.
