What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable and efficient video streaming solutions that meet the demands of millions of users worldwide.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user requirements into technical specifications and functional features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on video streaming technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with video codecs, streaming protocols (such as HLS, DASH), and content delivery networks (CDNs).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning techniques applied to video analytics and recommendation systems.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React or Angular for building user interfaces.
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
