What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable MLOps pipelines to streamline the deployment of machine learning models into production environments.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and software engineers to ensure integration of machine learning workflows.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of machine learning models in production, ensuring they meet service level objectives.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate deployment processes.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues in production environments.
• Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for machine learning systems to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Create comprehensive documentation for systems and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and team collaboration.
• Stay updated with industry trends in MLOps and SRE practices, and advocate for the adoption of best practices within the team.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure that all systems adhere to best security practices and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development through knowledge sharing and guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years focused on MLOps or SRE.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, with a strong understanding of software development principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly in deploying machine learning solutions.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in engineering practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks, such as Apache Spark or Kafka.
