About the role
In this pivotal role, you will serve as a crucial technical advisor, customizing ROGO's AI solutions for significant financial institutions across the Asia-Pacific region. Your primary responsibility is to translate complex business challenges into robust, cloud-native architectures that leverage advanced AI capabilities. You will own the end-to-end technical narrative, from initial discovery sessions through to the final implementation blueprint. A key aspect of this position involves designing secure and scalable cloud infrastructures that integrate seamlessly with the existing ecosystems of our clients. You will utilize deep expertise in cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code to ensure solutions are not only functional but also resilient and maintainable. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in delivering tangible value by aligning technical strategy with the specific operational needs of each institution. Your work will directly influence how these enterprises adopt and derive value from next-generation AI tools. What you'll do
Conduct comprehensive discovery workshops with enterprise-level stakeholders to meticulously document intricate technical and business requirements.
Architect and design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructures on major platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tailored for financial services.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to automate the provisioning and management of complex cloud environments efficiently.
Lead detailed technical discussions with C-level and senior technical executives, presenting sophisticated solutions with clarity and conviction.
Analyze existing system landscapes to diagnose integration and performance bottlenecks, devising effective systems-level resolutions.
Select and implement container orchestration strategies, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, to optimize the deployment and lifecycle management of AI applications.
Collaborate closely with product development teams to provide real-time technical feedback, ensuring proposed architectures are feasible and aligned with product roadmaps.
Implement robust security frameworks and identity and access management controls to ensure compliance and protection of sensitive financial data.
Manage multiple concurrent projects, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills to meet strict deadlines and client expectations without compromise.
Champion best practices in operational excellence, ensuring that deployed solutions are cost-effective, reliable, and easy to maintain over their lifecycle.
Mentor junior team members on technical concepts and solution design principles, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing within the APAC region.
Continuously research and evaluate emerging cloud and AI technologies to identify opportunities for enhancing ROGO's product offerings and client outcomes.
Develop detailed technical documentation and architecture diagrams that serve as blueprints for implementation and future reference.
Act as a trusted technical consultant, building long-term relationships with clients by providing objective and insightful guidance on their digital transformation journeys.
Requirements
A minimum of 4 years of demonstrable experience in client-facing technical roles, specifically as a Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Infrastructure Architect.
In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security principles is essential and forms the foundation of this position.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex architecture and security discussions with enterprise-level technical stakeholders confidently and professionally.
Proven familiarity with at least one major cloud service provider, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and their core services.
A thorough understanding of enterprise infrastructure, identity and access management, networking, and security best practices is crucial for success.
Strong capability to diagnose and resolve intricate infrastructure and integration issues at a systems level effectively and efficiently.
Exceptional communication skills combined with a strong executive presence to engage with diverse audiences, from technical engineers to board members.
Experience managing complex, long-term engagements with enterprise clients, showcasing superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
A high level of ownership, accountability, and commitment to follow-through on all tasks and projects to ensure successful delivery.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance technical requirements against business objectives and constraints effectively.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes, to manage, scale, and deploy applications reliably.
