What you'll do

• Lead and manage multiple technical projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management strategies, and communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, addressing any issues, and ensuring alignment among team members.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, analyzing metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and fostering strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in project management, continuously seeking opportunities for process optimization.
• Mentor and guide junior project team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, document lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant innovations into project strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical projects in a software development environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project) and collaboration software (e.g., Slack, Confluence).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with software development processes and technologies is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience in the fintech or technology sector.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and methodologies.
• Multilingual capabilities, particularly in English and Greek, are a plus.
