Robo is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Limassol. As a key player in our engineering team, you will be responsible for automating and optimizing our deployment pipelines, ensuring high availability and performance of our applications, and collaborating closely with developers to streamline workflows.

What you'll do
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.
- Collaborate with software developers to understand application requirements and translate them into infrastructure needs, enhancing overall system performance.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time, employing proactive measures to prevent downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring scalability and security of applications.
- Implement containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes to facilitate microservices architecture.
- Develop and maintain configuration management systems using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to ensure consistency across environments.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard applications and data against vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish DevOps best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Document processes, workflows, and system configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities to address and resolve production issues swiftly.
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance the DevOps toolchain and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their growth and development in DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, with a proven track record of managing cloud-based infrastructures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation tasks.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, and experience in setting up and managing these systems.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices design patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Knowledge of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL, and experience with database deployment and management.
- Previous experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive mindset.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or DevOps methodologies (e.g., Docker Certified Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
