The Senior Enterprise Security Engineer is responsible for executing Roblox's Enterprise Security Strategy. This role designs, deploys, and manages security solutions to protect corporate infrastructure. It ensures secure and compliant operations throughout the organization. Collaboration with Corporate Engineering and Trust & Safety teams is essential. The position translates business requirements into strong security implementations. These implementations enable secure productivity while managing risk effectively.
Reporting is directed to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Security Engineering. The role partners with security professionals across the Information Security organization. It requires cross-functional collaboration with teams throughout Roblox. Driving security initiatives that scale with the business is a core responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
The position evaluates and implements security technologies and vendor solutions. These solutions must align with enterprise security requirements and compliance standards. Risk management strategy guides this evaluation process. Leading initiatives across core security domains is a primary duty. These domains include Endpoint Security, SaaS Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Agentic AI Governance, and Supply Chain Security.
Close collaboration with IT, engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders is required. Security tools, policies, and processes integrate into enterprise systems and workflows through this cooperation. The goal is enabling secure-by-design implementations. Designing and building automation scripts and tools is also critical. These scripts and tools streamline security workflows. They collect actionable metrics and enforce security policies at scale.
Qualifications
The candidate possesses 6+ years of relevant professional experience. Familiarity with Identity and Access Management, Authentication, and Authorization is necessary. Knowledge of Endpoint and Network Security controls is required. Supply chain risk management understanding is also essential. A strong grasp of security fundamentals is mandatory. This includes zero trust architecture, threat modeling, and security frameworks. SOC 2 and ISO 27001 are examples of relevant frameworks. Best practices in corporate security environments must be known.
Experience designing or operating workflows using low-code and no-code orchestration platforms is required. Expertise in Google Workspace, OSQuery, and Okta is considered a significant advantage.
