What you'll do
- Lead the end-to-end localization process for Roblox games, ensuring timely and high-quality translations that maintain the original intent and tone of the content.
- Collaborate closely with game developers, product managers, and marketing teams to identify localization needs and establish clear project timelines.
- Develop and maintain localization guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency across all languages and regions.
- Manage relationships with external localization vendors and freelancers, overseeing their work to ensure alignment with Roblox's standards and expectations.

- Analyze localization metrics and user feedback to assess the effectiveness of localized content and identify areas for enhancement.

- Mentor and train junior localization team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

- Participate in user research and testing to gather insights on player preferences and behaviors in different markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Linguistics, Communications, or International Business.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in localization project management, preferably in the gaming or tech industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple localization projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of localization tools and technologies, such as CAT tools and translation management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with cultural nuances and regional differences in gaming preferences and behaviors.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing competing priorities.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation in a project management context.
- Proficiency in at least one additional language besides English is highly desirable.
