What you'll do

• Develop and oversee the global mobility strategy, ensuring alignment with Roblox's overall business objectives and workforce planning.
• Manage the end-to-end process for international assignments, including relocation logistics, visa applications, and compliance with immigration regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify talent needs and create tailored mobility solutions that support employee development and organizational goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding global mobility inquiries, providing guidance and support throughout the relocation process.
• Conduct regular assessments of global mobility policies and practices, making recommendations for improvements based on industry trends and best practices.
• Partner with external vendors and immigration counsel to ensure efficient and compliant processing of visa applications and other immigration-related matters.
• Monitor and manage the global mobility budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high service levels for employees.
• Create and deliver training sessions and resources for employees and managers to enhance understanding of global mobility processes and policies.
• Analyze data and metrics related to global mobility to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.
• Foster a culture of inclusivity by ensuring that global mobility practices are equitable and accessible to all employees, regardless of their background.
• Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies that may impact global mobility, proactively adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for relocated employees, including orientation and integration into the company culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in global mobility, expatriate management, or related HR functions.
• Strong understanding of immigration laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions, with experience managing visa processes.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective global mobility strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and cultures.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience managing budgets and financial aspects of global mobility programs.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in HRIS and global mobility software tools; familiarity with data analytics tools is a plus.

Nice to have

• Certification in Global Mobility or related HR certifications (e.g., GMS, SHRM).
• Experience working in a technology or fast-paced startup environment.
• Multilingual abilities, particularly in languages relevant to Roblox's global operations.
