What you'll do

• Collaborate closely with the Trust & Safety leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies that support operational goals and objectives.
• Analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends and variances to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making.
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
• Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses for proposed initiatives within the Trust & Safety domain, evaluating their financial viability and impact.
• Support the development of financial models to assess the implications of various strategic initiatives and operational changes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure financial considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Trust & Safety operations, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans, ensuring they reflect the strategic direction of the Trust & Safety team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Act as a financial advisor to project teams, providing guidance on budgeting, resource allocation, and financial best practices.
• Engage in regular communication with internal stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment and ensure alignment on financial objectives.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact financial planning and operations within the Trust & Safety space.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business partnering, or a related role, preferably within the tech or gaming industry.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques, with experience in budgeting processes.
• Familiarity with financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and data visualization platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
