In this pivotal position, you will spearhead client engagements that center around cybersecurity strategy and advisory services. As the primary liaison for clients, your role is crucial in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and meet the desired outcomes. This client-facing position will require you to facilitate discussions and deliver actionable security solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.

What you'll do

• Supervise the daily operations of cybersecurity strategy and advisory projects, ensuring that clients are consistently updated on progress.
• Cultivate and manage client relationships by setting clear expectations and fostering strong connections with key stakeholders.
• Organize and lead workshops and meetings with client teams, including members of senior management, to discuss project objectives and outcomes.
• Generate high-quality outputs such as assessment reports, risk evaluations, and executive-level presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
• Assist in conducting security maturity assessments and gap analyses, as well as in the development of customized security programs tailored to client needs.
• Support the scoping of projects and the creation of proposals that align with client requirements and expectations.
• Collaborate with internal Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Security Engineering teams to address broader project requirements and objectives.
• Provide regular updates to clients, ensuring they are informed about project status and any potential issues that may arise.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for additional services within existing client accounts to enhance client relationships and drive business growth.
• Review and offer constructive feedback on the work produced by junior team members, fostering their professional development.
• Contribute to the refinement and development of internal methodologies and frameworks that enhance the firm's service offerings.
• Stay abreast of the latest threats, industry standards, and emerging security technologies to provide informed guidance to clients.
• Engage in firm-building initiatives, including recruiting and training new team members to strengthen the overall capabilities of the organization.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field is essential.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity consulting, advisory roles, or positions that involve direct client interaction in security contexts.
• Proven experience in conducting security assessments, offering risk management advice, or developing comprehensive security programs.
• Familiarity with widely recognized cybersecurity standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS is required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) would be advantageous.
• Practical experience with tools and technologies in areas like cloud security, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, endpoint security, or log management is a plus.
