Growth Engineer
Job description
About the role
You will architect and execute the integration strategy that connects Ritual's sovereign AI execution layer with external partner applications and protocols. Your work will define how technology partners in web3 and adjacent industries leverage Ritual's AI-native infrastructure stack to launch novel applications. You will own the full lifecycle of technical partnerships, from initial discovery and scoping through implementation, deployment, and long-term maintenance. This position requires fluency across multiple technical domains, including AI/ML systems, distributed computing, and blockchain execution environments. You will act as a key interface between Ritual's core platform and the broader ecosystem, ensuring integrations are robust, scalable, and aligned with user needs. You will continuously assess the tooling landscape and adopt new technologies that enhance the reliability and performance of integration workflows.
Key facts
What you'll do
Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with potential partners to translate high-level product visions into concrete technical integration roadmaps.
Architect and implement integration patterns that connect partner applications with Ritual Infernet and underlying chain primitives using well-defined interfaces.
Maintain and evolve comprehensive documentation for APIs and SDKs, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility for developers of varying expertise.
Provide responsive technical support to partners, diagnosing issues, and guiding them through debugging and optimization of their deployments.
Develop reusable reference implementations, templates, and best practice guides that accelerate partner time-to-value and standardize integration patterns.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to identify and prototype new usage patterns that expand the capabilities of Ritual's infrastructure.
Evaluate emerging tools, libraries, and frameworks across AI, blockchain, and distributed systems to improve integration reliability and developer experience.
Implement monitoring and observability strategies for integrated solutions, enabling partners and Ritual teams to proactively detect and resolve issues.
Guide partners in adapting their applications to changes in underlying protocols, ensuring continuity and compatibility across Ritual upgrades.
Champion security and performance reviews for integration touchpoints, identifying risks and optimizing resource utilization.
Serve as a technical liaison between Ritual and partner organizations, aligning expectations and ensuring clear, consistent communication.
Drive the creation of technical artifacts such as sample code, walkthroughs, and troubleshooting guides that support both initial and advanced integrations.
Contribute feedback from the field back into Ritual's product and infrastructure development cycles, influencing future feature priorities.
Explore and validate new deployment and configuration options on major cloud platforms to enhance scalability and cost efficiency for integrated solutions.
Requirements
Demonstrate expertise in blockchain engineering with a focus on forward-deployed environments, showing familiarity with production-grade deployment and upgrade patterns.
Bring a well-rounded understanding of the web3 landscape, including hands-on experience with protocols across DeFi, various L1 and L2 environments, bridges, and related infrastructure.
Show strong engineering fundamentals with fluency in at least one of Python or TypeScript, combined with practical experience in Solidity and EVM smart contract development.
Maintain comfort with Unix-based development workflows, using command-line tools and scripting to automate and troubleshoot complex systems.
Exhibit a strong desire to dive into low-level details while also knowing when higher-level abstractions are appropriate to accelerate delivery.
Demonstrate robust written communication skills, emphasizing clarity, precision, and thoroughness in documentation and asynchronous collaboration.
Approach technical collaboration with a mindset oriented toward partnership, responsiveness, and constructive problem-solving.
Show commitment to quality through rigorous testing, code review, and attention to reliability in distributed systems.
Nice to have
Prior experience deploying scalable, secure, high-performance infrastructure on AWS or GCP using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
Contributions to or active involvement in open-source projects, demonstrating engagement with community-driven development practices.
