About the role

You will architect and ship complex user interfaces that bring developers closer to the sovereign AI execution layer of Ritual. Your work will define how the community interacts with the chain, translating intricate backend processes into clear, visual narratives. You will own the entire lifecycle of critical dashboard products, from initial concept through production deployment and iteration. This role centers on building the bridge between cutting edge AI infrastructure and the humans who operate it. You will translate abstract protocol mechanics into tangible, interactive experiences that feel instantaneous and intuitive. Your interfaces will serve as the primary control panel for monitoring and managing a live, distributed testnet environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that sophisticated capabilities remain accessible without sacrificing power or depth. Ultimately, you will be a key driver in validating the on-chain user experience for Ritual's core infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Architect and implement responsive dashboards that provide deep visibility into node status, transaction progression, and cross-chain message passing across the Ritual ecosystem.
• Engineer dynamic transaction monitoring interfaces capable of visualizing the complete lifecycle of interactions, including broker status, node execution, and finality confirmation in real time.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated dashboard interfaces dedicated to node deployment, lifecycle management, and performance monitoring across diverse cloud provider infrastructures.
• Construct intuitive web applications that empower users to provision, configure, and manage customized node infrastructure through streamlined, accessible interfaces.
• Build responsive and data-rich dashboards designed for real-time monitoring of distributed compute resources, container health, and infrastructure scaling events.
• Craft DeFi-inspired interface patterns for protocol interactions, bringing familiar concepts from DEX and vault management to the unique Ritual environment.
• Partner closely with product, design, and backend engineers to refine and deliver seamless user experiences that meet the highest standards of clarity and utility.
• Engage actively in code reviews, providing constructive and actionable feedback that elevates the overall quality of the codebase.
• Write efficient, high-quality, and maintainable frontend code that consistently exceeds expectations for performance and user experience.
• Implement robust state management solutions and real-time data handling strategies to ensure interface reliability under demanding conditions.
• Ensure deep understanding and clear visualization of complex cross-chain transaction flows, making blockchain infrastructure feel transparent and understandable.
• Demonstrate expertise with modern frontend build tools, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines to support rapid and reliable releases.
• Thrive in a high-pressure environment, rapidly context switching between complex problems while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail.
• Take full ownership of feature development, driving projects from initial requirements gathering through to production deployment and post-launch optimization.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a robust fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, with a proven ability to write clean, semantic, and maintainable markup and styles.
• Bring strong experience in productionizing user interfaces specifically for decentralized applications that interact directly with various EVM-based blockchains.
• Show strong proficiency with popular Web3 wallet integration libraries such as wagmi and ethers.js, along with deep familiarity with standard blockchain interaction patterns.
• Possess proven full-stack experience, enabling you to diagnose and resolve end-to-end issues independently, including familiarity with API design and server-side architectures.
• Exhibit proficiency with Linux and command-line environments, utilizing them effectively for development, debugging, and system investigation.
• Have experience building responsive monitoring dashboards and complex data visualization interfaces that communicate dense information clearly.
• Show expertise in state management patterns and real-time data handling, ensuring interfaces remain performant and accurate as data scales.
• Maintain a strong understanding of cross-chain transaction flows and the broader blockchain infrastructure that supports Ritual.
• Have experience with modern frontend build tools and deployment pipelines, ensuring code quality and development velocity.
• Display the ability to act quickly under high pressure scenarios, adapting swiftly to shifting priorities and technical challenges.
• Show a high level of end-to-end ownership and self-direction, communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Be hungry, high-energy, and capable of consistently meeting demanding deadlines within a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

Nice to have

• Proven track record developing multi-platform applications spanning web, desktop, and mobile experiences.
• Experience building interfaces for distributed systems or complex node management workflows.
• Background with AI/ML infrastructure monitoring, management, and orchestration systems.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms and various cloud provider interfaces and services.
• Experience with Electron or similar desktop application frameworks for building rich client applications.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and implementing real-time data subscriptions for live data updates.
• Contributions to open-source projects within the web3 ecosystem, demonstrating a commitment to community-driven development.

Practical notes

The role is full-time and remote.

This position requires the ability to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
