About the role
You will architect and execute the end-to-end deployment strategy for Rillet's implementation organization, owning the full lifecycle of client onboarding from initial scoping through hypercare. You will lead a high-performing team of implementation specialists, setting the standard for execution quality, process rigor, and client advocacy. The role demands that you internalize Rillet's AI-native ERP vision and translate it into tangible deployment playbooks that drive predictable, successful outcomes. You will partner closely with Product and Engineering to iterate on the platform based on real-world implementation feedback. Your work will directly shape the client's financial operations and their trust in the Rillet platform. You are expected to design solutions that balance deep accounting expertise with the speed and flexibility demanded by our customers. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring that every client experiences a seamless, value-realizing transition to running their numbers at the speed of AI.

What you'll do
- Lead and scale the implementation team, defining career paths and performance standards for deployment specialists.
- Own the end-to-end client deployment lifecycle, managing timelines, dependencies, and critical path activities from kickoff to hypercare.
- Design and standardize implementation methodologies, playbooks, and templates to ensure consistent delivery across all client engagements.
- Translate complex accounting requirements into actionable configuration plans within the Rillet ERP platform.
- Conduct detailed analysis of client-ledger structures, chart of accounts, and reporting requirements to ensure accurate system setup.
- Oversee the migration and validation of large datasets, ensuring integrity, completeness, and reconciliation across source and target systems.
- Serve as the technical liaison between Rillet's engineering teams and client IT infrastructure teams.
- Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers, and drive resolution through structured problem-solving.
- Coordinate closely with Customer Success and Product teams to align on roadmap priorities and client feedback loops.
- Prepare clear, executive-level status reports and documentation for both internal leadership and client stakeholders.
- Mentor junior implementation managers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with integration partners to validate API connectivity and data flow for seamless ecosystem operations.
- Define and track key implementation metrics to measure team performance and client satisfaction.
- Adapt to shifting project scopes and timelines inherent in the mid-market and enterprise software deployment environment.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Possess a minimum of 7 years of cumulative professional experience in accounting, audit, advisory, or client-facing financial services roles.
- Bring at least 3 years of proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams in people-centric, deadline-driven environments.
- Demonstrate deep, hands-on familiarity with core accounting systems and enterprise resource planning platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, or Oracle.
- Exhibit exceptional project management capabilities, with a documented history of juggling concurrent initiatives under tight deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, bridging the gap between implementation teams and executive client sponsors.
- Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous startup settings, showing resilience, adaptability, and a bias for action.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail, maintaining high standards for accuracy in financial configurations and data reconciliation.
- Have substantial professional experience working with SaaS-based revenue recognition principles and ASC 606 compliance requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience leading deployments for multi-entity consolidation and complex intercompany accounting scenarios.
- Background working with investor reporting packages and integrations involving equity tables or complex capital structures.
- Familiarity with automated reconciliation tools and methodologies for large-scale financial data sets.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted workflow design within enterprise software implementation contexts.
Practical notes
Hybrid schedule requires in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible day per week; some roles may require more office time based on team needs. Remote candidates must be physically located within the United States. This role does not involve international travel or visa sponsorship.
