Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and implement comprehensive full stack features for the Client Management platform, including designing intuitive user interfaces, building robust backend services, and creating efficient data workflows that support the platform's core functionalities.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow engineers to translate complex requirements into reliable, scalable, and maintainable software solutions that meet business needs.
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial design and architecture planning to coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices, while also creating automated tests to ensure high quality and reduce bugs.
- Improve operational efficiency by enhancing developer automation processes, streamlining deployment pipelines, and contributing to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge, participating in code reviews, and providing constructive feedback to peers to uphold high standards of code quality.
- Utilize AI tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate development cycles, improve documentation, and facilitate rapid prototyping, all while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality software.
- Take ownership of features and modules, delivering well-defined functionalities that align with project timelines and technical specifications.
- Gain a deep understanding of the system architecture, data models, and underlying business logic to contribute effectively to system improvements and troubleshooting efforts.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development workflows, coding standards, and best practices within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and updates, supporting the overall product roadmap.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of developing full stack applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in developing web front-end applications using React, Jest, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience building backend services with Java or Kotlin, including designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL, with experience in designing and querying database schemas.
- Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and business domains, with a growth mindset.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and architectural patterns relevant to scalable software development.
- Effective communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across teams and conveying technical concepts clearly.

- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies to facilitate deployment and scaling.

- Background in investment, asset management, or customer relationship management (CRM) applications, providing domain-specific insights.
- Educational background or experience in design, economics, or finance, adding context to the financial technology focus.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog to ensure system health and performance.

The typical starting salary for this role ranges from $128,000 to $150,500, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
