About the role
Replit is on the lookout for a Head of Marketing Operations to spearhead the operational functions within its marketing division. This pivotal position entails managing the marketing budget, overseeing recruitment efforts, and ensuring seamless collaboration across various teams. You will partner closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to streamline daily operations and prepare impactful presentations that drive strategic initiatives.

What you'll do
- Take charge of the entire marketing budget, meticulously tracking expenditures and identifying variances from the planned budget while collaborating with the Finance department for accurate forecasts and reporting.
- Provide detailed financial insights by team, channel, and program, empowering leadership to make data-driven decisions.
- Assist in the planning phases for both quarterly and annual budget cycles, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and marketing leaders to strategize headcount needs, monitor job requisitions, and facilitate interview processes.
- Standardize hiring protocols across various marketing sub-teams, including the development of job descriptions, interview stages, and evaluation scorecards.
- Ensure that hiring strategies are in sync with budgetary constraints and the overall organizational structure.
- Conduct regular tactical updates and team-wide briefings for different marketing functions such as brand management, demand generation, product marketing, and communications.
- Organize and oversee the agenda, frequency, and follow-up for marketing leadership meetings and all-hands gatherings.
- Work directly with the CMO to create compelling presentations, including board meeting decks, executive summaries, and strategic documents, ensuring they are well-crafted, data-centric, and aligned with the company's messaging.
- Manage the evaluation and implementation of all marketing tools and platforms that will be utilized over the upcoming year.
- Lead vendor assessments, procurement discussions, and implementation strategies for new marketing technologies.
- Maintain a thorough overview of the marketing technology stack, tracking licensing, usage statistics, and renewal timelines.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing operations, business operations, or a related field that supports senior marketing executives.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets effectively and communicate financial data clearly to executive leadership.
- Experience in hiring or recruitment operations, ideally in close collaboration with talent acquisition teams.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a proven track record of creating executive-level presentations.
- Familiarity with popular marketing technology tools, including marketing automation systems, analytics platforms, and project management software.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of building trust with a diverse range of stakeholders, from entry-level employees to C-suite executives.
