What you'll do

• Architect and develop robust mobile applications using Ionic with Cordova and Angular, leveraging deep JavaScript and TypeScript expertise.
• Translate intricate business requirements into high-fidelity mobile interfaces that adhere to platform-specific design languages and usability standards.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to refine feature sets and prioritize deliverables in an agile environment.
• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability across a wide range of devices and network conditions.
• Integrate with back-end services through RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data synchronization.
• Implement native functionality and third-party plugins to extend the capabilities of hybrid mobile applications.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of mobile applications to eliminate defects and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Maintain code quality and documentation to facilitate long-term maintainability and future feature expansion.
• Partner with design teams to ensure pixel-perfect execution of UI components and consistent brand representation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to offline storage, threading, and UI responsiveness on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Apply security best practices to protect user data and application integrity during transmission and storage.
• Liaise with remote team members to synchronize development efforts and meet project milestones.

Requirements

• Possess 5 or more years of hands-on experience developing mobile applications using Ionic and Cordova.
• Demonstrate a proven track record as a mobile app developer with shipped products in production environments.
• Show expertise in designing, building, and maintaining mobile applications using Ionic frameworks.
• Bring experience working with both Android and iOS platforms to ensure cross-platform compatibility.
• Have good hands-on exposure to Angular versions 5 and above, along with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Show good hands-on exposure to JavaScript and jQuery libraries for dynamic interface manipulation.
• Possess an in-depth understanding of HTML5, HTML4, and CSS3 frameworks for responsive design.
• Familiarize yourself with RESTful services, UI frameworks, offline storage mechanisms, threading models, and performance tuning.
• Understand and apply design principles to create intuitive and user-centric mobile products.
• Understand and adhere to Android and Apple platform guidelines and other UX and UI standards.
• Become familiar with mobile notifications, messaging systems, and integration methods.
• Gain experience with enterprise application integration patterns and methodologies.
• Have good hands-on exposure to Ionic development practices and tools.
• Show willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies in the mobile space.

Nice to have

Preferred skills include advanced knowledge of mobile performance optimization and experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployment.
