In this role, you will integrate into a fast-paced global organization through Rehire, focusing on a major international transformation program. You will serve as the critical link between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business objectives are accurately translated into digital solutions. The position requires a proactive approach to defining and refining product backlogs to maximize value delivery. You will be responsible for maintaining a clear vision of the product direction while adapting to evolving market and regulatory demands. Success in this role hinges on your ability to foster collaboration across distributed teams and stakeholders. You will guide the development team through prioritization and continuous refinement of requirements. Your decisions will directly influence the efficiency of the development lifecycle and the quality of the final outputs. What you'll do
Define and maintain a comprehensive product backlog, ensuring all items are clearly articulated, prioritized, and ready for development sprints.
Translate complex business requirements into detailed user stories and functional specifications that are understandable for technical and non-technical audiences.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to monitor progress and remove impediments.
Analyze and document workflows, processes, and system interactions to identify gaps and opportunities for optimization within the CCM environment.
Validate deliverables through testing and feedback loops to confirm that solutions meet the established business needs and quality standards.
Leverage deep knowledge of OpenText platforms and Pre-Processor technologies to guide configuration and customization efforts.
Monitor project metrics and key performance indicators to assess the health of the project and recommend adjustments as necessary.
Ensure all documentation, including functional designs and process maps, remains current and accessible to the relevant teams.
Champion the adoption of best practices across the SDLC to enhance the predictability and reliability of the delivery pipeline.
Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to uncover hidden requirements and clarify ambiguous stakeholder requests.
Manage dependencies and risks proactively, escalating issues promptly to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to the schedule.
Support the continuous improvement of the product by incorporating user feedback and market trends into future iterations.
Serve as the expert authority on the product suite, answering stakeholder questions and providing context for strategic decisions.
Requirements
A minimum of 8 years of cumulative experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar positions within a professional setting.
Demonstrated expertise in Customer Communications Management (CCM) platforms, including the ability to navigate and utilize these systems effectively.
Hands-on experience with OpenText solutions and associated Pre-Processor technologies is a mandatory prerequisite for this position.
A strong history of successfully converting ambiguous business needs into precise functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how each phase impacts the delivery of software products.
Proven ability to work effectively within Agile frameworks, specifically Scrum or Kanban, delivering value in iterative cycles.
Advanced competency in the use of JIRA for backlog management and Confluence for the creation and storage of documentation.
Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Project for scheduling and Visio for creating process diagrams, are required.
Professional working proficiency in English at a C1 level is necessary to ensure clear and efficient communication with global stakeholders.
Willingness to adhere to the working hours and contractual terms defined for the duration of the engagement in Colombia.
Nice to have
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects with multiple interdependencies.
Familiarity with a variety of project management tools and methodologies beyond the core stack mentioned in the requirements.
Knowledge of current trends and emerging technologies in the field of product management and digital transformation.
Practical notes
Work model: 100% Remote (Latam).
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
This position is part of a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
