About the role
Reddit is seeking a Sales Manager to oversee a team within the Big Box Retail segment of its Large Customer Sales organization. You will guide Client Partners and Client Account Managers in helping agencies and advertisers meet their marketing goals on the platform. Reddit hosts over 100,000 active communities and roughly 130 million daily active unique visitors.

What you'll do
- Coach and develop a team of Client Partners and Client Account Managers while recruiting and retaining high performers
- Stay current on industry trends and apply vertical expertise to strengthen team capabilities
- Provide direction on account planning and help craft strategies that exceed revenue targets
- Represent retail interests internally by aligning sales narratives with client needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups including Enablement, Measurement, Insights, Creative Strategy, Business Development, Marketing, Sales Ops, and Finance
- Drive new product launches, marketing communications, and advertiser acquisition alongside Marketing
- Grow revenue by expanding partnerships with major global brands
- Manage complex partnerships spanning multiple lines of business and priorities
- Build and maintain C-level relationships at client and agency organizations
- Advise sales leadership and product management on market opportunities, positioning, and resource allocation
Requirements
- 10 to 15 or more years in digital media sales or marketing
- 3 or more years managing sales teams
- Deep expertise in digital media, particularly paid social
- Demonstrated success developing team members and advancing their careers
- Experience working with executive-level retail stakeholders in complex organizations
- Track record of thinking globally to drive revenue across the US and international markets
- Background in direct advertiser sales, including negotiations and strategic partnership management
- Strong communication skills and executive presence
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to translate market trends, client needs, and platform capabilities into business opportunities
- Capable of breaking down complex strategies into actionable plans
- Familiarity with both brand and direct-response marketing objectives

- Base salary range: $195,000 to $273,000 USD
- Compensation includes equity via restricted stock units plus commission eligibility
