What you'll do

• Direct the technical strategy and advancement of APIs, integrations, and tools that manage off-platform signals for Reddit Ads.
• Supervise the processes for collecting inbound data and delivering outbound data products that advertisers use for performance measurement and optimization.
• Lead the execution of the team's project roadmap, ensuring that features and enhancements are delivered consistently and predictably.
• Mentor and nurture engineers, promoting their professional development and empowering them to embrace leadership roles.
• Collaborate closely with product management, data science, sales, and other engineering teams to boost advertiser success and enhance revenue generation.
• Establish and uphold processes and tools that guarantee high product and system quality, aligning with customer requirements and service level agreements.
• Serve as a strategic partner to product leadership and senior management, ensuring that the team's efforts align with overarching company objectives.
• Analyze and refine existing systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness in data handling.
• Engage in regular performance reviews and feedback sessions to ensure team members are meeting their goals and growing in their roles.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative solutions to complex challenges.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide technical insights that inform product development and strategy.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in managing engineering teams.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Previous experience in the digital advertising sector is essential.
• Proven track record of collaborating with product managers and designers to create new products.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to convey a technical vision that aligns with business objectives.
• A results-driven mindset, focused on developing scalable, well-architected solutions that provide business value.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Experience in agile methodologies and project management practices is a plus.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ad domains that involve conversion signals, signal integrations, mobile measurement partner integrations, and measurement vendor integrations.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance in the advertising space.
• Experience with cloud technologies and platforms relevant to advertising solutions.

Practical notes

• This position is fully remote within the United States, allowing for flexible work arrangements.
• The salary range for this role is between $217,000 and $303,900 USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• The role includes eligibility for equity in the form of restricted stock units, providing an opportunity for long-term financial growth.
