Key facts
What you'll do
- Conduct thorough analyses of local media landscapes, audience behaviors, and competitor strategies to inform market entry decisions.
- Create comprehensive investment playbooks and partner with media buying agencies to roll out campaigns across various platforms, including television, podcasts, radio, out-of-home advertising, and digital video.
- Develop and implement frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of international marketing initiatives, assessing performance at both the channel and market levels.
- Monitor and assess campaign performance and market analytics to make informed decisions regarding budget allocation - identifying areas for increased investment, necessary adjustments, or potential discontinuation of spending.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing goals and strategies, fostering a cohesive approach to international expansion.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies that could impact media strategy and marketing effectiveness in new markets.
- Lead the development of creative briefs and ensure that all marketing materials are tailored to local cultures and preferences.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of international campaigns, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- A solid background in media strategy, growth marketing, or performance marketing, particularly within the UK market.
- Demonstrated ability to perform structured research and translate complex market data into actionable marketing strategies.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities to identify key performance indicators and sift through data to extract meaningful insights.
- A high degree of independence, with the capacity to manage projects and engage stakeholders effectively, even in the absence of detailed documentation.
- Experience in dynamic environments where strategies are developed concurrently with their execution, showcasing adaptability and quick thinking.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate strategies and insights to diverse audiences.
