- You will manage the deployment, flight, and recovery of UAS in environments that test your limits and equipment.
- You will monitor and document every phase of the operation, maintaining strict adherence to safety and procedural standards.
- You will safeguard sensitive technology and ensure all gear is secured, tracked, and maintained for future deployments.
- You will adapt to rapidly changing weather and terrain while supporting the team's broader objectives.
- You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate mission goals into precise on-the-ground actions.
- You will uphold the integrity of the data collected, ensuring it is reliable and ready for analysis.
- You will represent Rainmaker with professionalism in every interaction, whether in the field or at base.
Requirements
- You need Required.
- Willingness and ability to work in remote, physically demanding, and weather-exposed environments.
- You need Strong attention to detail and discipline in following procedures.
- You need Reliable, self-directed, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small field team.
- Comfort with frequent travel, including to remote or international locations.
- You need Valid driver's license.
Nice to have
- Experience in field operations, aviation, military, emergency management, construction, or similar hands-on environments.
- It helps if Mechanical or technical aptitude, including equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- It helps if Experience operating or supporting UAS.
- It helps if FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
- It helps if Experience handling logistics, inventory, or supply.
- Familiarity with GIS tools and spatial data (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth).
- It helps if Wilderness or backcountry experience.
