What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions that meet client needs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to deployment and maintenance.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our solutions remain competitive and relevant.
• Assist in the development of project documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to help them grow in their roles.
• Contribute to the enhancement of internal processes and tools to improve overall team efficiency.
• Collaborate with clients to gather feedback and refine solutions based on user experience and requirements.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to further develop your skills and expertise in relevant technologies.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, along with experience in frameworks like React, Angular, or Django.
• Familiarity with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with mobile application development for iOS and Android platforms.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role or working directly with customers to gather requirements.
• Contributions to open-source projects or participation in tech communities.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies to ensure software quality.
• Knowledge of user interface design principles and experience with UX/UI tools.
• Understanding of security best practices in software development.
