What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop custom electronic enclosures that meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Utilize advanced CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and models for production.
• Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on prototypes and finished products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or modifications needed.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative solutions for complex design challenges.
• Assist in the optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure Bamboohr remains at the forefront of the market.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during client presentations and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content that showcases our products and services.
• Participate in trade shows and industry events to represent Bamboohr and network with potential clients and partners.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product design or engineering, preferably in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to electronic enclosures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and able to manage individual projects.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic products is a plus.

• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
