What you'll do

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, reliability, and pricing structures.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions for Powermonitors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and finance, to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
• Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and areas for improvement in the procurement process.
• Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards in procurement practices.
• Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts related to procurement activities, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and drive operational efficiency.
• Provide training and support to junior procurement staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management to enhance the company's competitive edge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the technology or energy sector.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms with suppliers.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with contract law and procurement regulations is a plus.

Nice to have

• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is highly desirable.
• Experience in the energy or technology sectors, particularly with products related to energy monitoring or management.
• Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and green supply chain initiatives.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.
