What you'll do
- Orchestrate flawless pre-sale media planning by developing intricate campaign architectures that empower the Sales team to secure premium advertising partnerships with an error rate of less than five percent.
- Assume complete ownership of workflow organization by constructing and maintaining a dynamic, single-source-of-truth library containing rate cards, product offerings, case studies, and planning templates for the Sales team.
- Deliver exceptional post-sale service by managing day-to-day client communications and ensuring the flawless execution of active campaigns, accompanied by timely reporting that clarifies performance.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Ad Ops, and Client Strategy to guarantee seamless campaign implementation that meets or surpasses established client key performance indicators.
- Generate direct revenue impact by supporting the Sales team in crafting persuasive RFP responses, renewal pitches, and identifying strategic upsell opportunities that expand existing partnerships.
- Champion client satisfaction by consistently producing detailed wrap reports and insightful analyses that articulate campaign value and translate feedback into clear, actionable strategies for retention.
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with national brands and media/advertising agencies to foster a collaborative ecosystem that drives innovation.
- Surface new, upsell, and renewal opportunities through proactive client engagement, rigorous research, and close collaboration with the Sales department to identify latent needs.
- Communicate real-time updates regarding inventory availability, pricing adjustments, creative assets, specifications, optimization solutions, content calendars, and any other evolving campaign components.
- Support revenue forecasting and reporting accuracy by meticulously maintaining pipeline data, inventory levels, and campaign performance metrics within internal tracking systems.
- Remain at the forefront of industry developments by monitoring advertiser activities, competitor movements, and emerging trends in sports media to inform proactive planning.
- Leverage deep knowledge of sports media partnerships, including athlete sponsorships, brand integrations, and platform-specific strategies, to build compelling narratives for potential partners.
- Utilize advanced analytical skills to interpret campaign performance data and translate findings into strategic recommendations that enhance future media plans.
- Act as a primary point of contact for strategic discussions regarding product offerings and go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment between client objectives and execution capabilities.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree and possess a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in digital media sales, with a preference for candidates who have background in publisher or media agency environments.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of hands-on experience when building sales materials, including the creation of decks, media plans, and comprehensive wrap reports that inform business decisions.
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of the sports media landscape, encompassing partnership structures involving athletes, brands, and media entities, along with a firm grasp of current emerging media trends and content consumption across various mediums.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Operate with high energy and drive, bolstered by strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills that facilitate successful outcomes in challenging scenarios.
