About the role
The owns the end-to-end process of bringing product marketing clarity to the club, youth, and amateur sports landscape. This role is responsible for synthesizing complex operator realities into coherent, evidence-based positioning that resonates across buyer types and decision committees. You will act as the primary translator between customer behavior and market-facing narratives, ensuring that messaging is grounded in first-party insights and operational realities. The position demands comfort with ambiguity and a commitment to accuracy when working across customer interviews, market research, sales feedback, performance data, and AI-assisted workflows. You will be an early-career marketer who thrives on deepening expertise in how products are positioned, introduced, adopted, and proven within a growing market segment. This role reports into the Emerging Markets business and focuses on segments where operator efficiency and parent experience directly influence adoption. Ultimately, you will own the narrative that connects product value to real-world outcomes for youth and amateur sports organizations.

What you'll do
- Build and maintain a comprehensive market overview for club, youth, and amateur sports segments, documenting segments, buyer roles, operational challenges, purchasing triggers, and decision-making processes.
- Strengthen product positioning and messaging by curating and maintaining accurate persona, use-case, competitive, and value-proposition resources that reflect current market conditions.
- Translate complex operational challenges - including cash handling, gate leakage, fragmented payments, staffing constraints, and disconnected reporting - into clear, credible customer value narratives that resonate with stakeholders.
- Develop a consistent pipeline of customer proof points, including testimonials, quotes, use cases, customer stories, and measurable business outcomes that support marketing and sales initiatives.
- Improve sales and go-to-market execution by equipping teams with relevant market intelligence, buyer insights, objection handling frameworks, and customer-facing enablement materials.
- Create visibility into market response, product adoption, customer feedback, and emerging patterns across customer segments to inform strategic decisions.
- Conduct structured interviews with club directors, tournament operators, facility leaders, league commissioners, financial stakeholders, and other market participants to uncover nuanced insights.
- Capture and organize qualitative and quantitative findings, such as customer quotes, testimonials, operational insights, objections, proof points, and customer stories, in formats usable by marketing and sales teams.
- Support the development of segment-specific sales enablement, onboarding content, workflow guides, FAQs, case studies, presentations, and campaign materials that address real operator needs.
- Identify recurring customer challenges related to ticketing, payments, gate operations, staffing, reporting, reconciliation, sponsorship, and parent experience, and help prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- Help translate qualitative and quantitative findings into audience-specific messaging and recommend actions that support demand creation and adoption across target segments.
- Maintain and update key resources such as market overviews, positioning summaries, persona briefs, messaging frameworks, use-case documentation, and competitive reference materials.
Requirements
- You hold hands-on experience in product marketing, customer research, or sales enablement, with a track record of translating insights into actionable materials.
- You understand tournament cash handling, staffing constraints, and revenue reconciliation in community sports environments and can speak to their impact on buying decisions.
- You can articulate how digital ticketing and payments create tangible value for complex buying centers, addressing both operational and experiential concerns.
- You are comfortable working with evidence-based inputs, including customer interviews, market research, sales feedback, performance data, and AI-assisted workflows to inform your recommendations.
- You demonstrate strong attention to accuracy and detail, ensuring that positioning, messaging, and enablement materials reflect real market conditions and stakeholder language.
- You possess the ability to synthesize fragmented information into coherent narratives that support consistent go-to-market strategies across segments.
- You have the judgment to balance qualitative insights with quantitative signals, producing outputs that are both human-centered and strategically aligned.
- Experience serving club, youth, and amateur sports segments with demonstrated curiosity about operator workflows and parent experience dynamics.

This is a full-time position based in Alpharetta, Georgia, with an annual compensation of $75,000 USD. The role requires 3.5 years of relevant experience and expects candidates to work on-site during standard business hours.
