You will architect and execute the end-to-end sourcing strategy for senior and specialized Product Management roles across Plaid's expanding organization. You will act as the primary point of contact for hiring teams, translating complex hiring needs into actionable sourcing plans and market intelligence. You will leverage data and creative outreach to build a robust pipeline of high-caliber candidates who can thrive in Plaid's fast-paced environment. This role requires you to be a strategic advisor who influences hiring decisions by providing insights on talent availability and market trends. You will own the continuous improvement of the candidate funnel, ensuring that quality and diversity of hire remain at the forefront of the process. Your work will directly shape the future of Plaid's product organization by ensuring the right builders, thinkers, and connectors are in place to drive financial transformation. You will be a key partner in scaling the product function with intention and precision.

What you'll do
Identify and engage passive Product Management talent through advanced creative sourcing techniques and targeted market mapping.
Analyze end-to-end funnel metrics to uncover bottlenecks and implement data-driven strategies that optimize hiring velocity and quality.
Position Plaid as an employer of choice by articulating the mission, culture, and impact of product roles to both active and passive candidates.
Champion the candidate-first philosophy by balancing speed, quality, and experience throughout every stage of the sourcing lifecycle.
Collaborate with product recruiters and hiring managers to define ideal candidate profiles and refine sourcing playbooks for specialized niches.
Build and maintain a dynamic talent network by leveraging professional platforms, community channels, and direct outreach strategies.
Provide expert guidance to hiring teams on evolving market conditions, salary benchmarks, and competitive positioning for product talent.
Develop and execute longer-term networking strategies, including event planning and targeted account-based outreach, to cultivate relationships with high-potential candidates.
Partner with cross-functional EPD recruiters and recruiting operations to share insights, standardize processes, and drive consistent candidate experiences.
Evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing channels and experiments to continuously improve the efficiency and reach of talent acquisition efforts.
Support the development of innovative sourcing solutions that address the unique challenges of recruiting for niche Product Management disciplines.
Act as a subject matter expert on candidate behavior and market supply, translating findings into actionable sourcing strategies.
Ensure all hiring practices align with Plaid's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by sourcing from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences.
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Product organization, helping to anticipate future talent needs and build scalable pipelines.
Requirements
7+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, with a preference for in-house roles within fast-growth technology companies.
Demonstrated creative sourcing experience across multiple platforms and channels, including but not limited to LinkedIn, GitHub, niche job boards, and community forums.
A proven track record of partnering with senior Product Managers or Engineering leaders on niche and challenging searches that require deep market knowledge.
Comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment where multiple parallel searches demand prioritization and agility.
A data-driven and process-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify bottlenecks, analyze trends, and recommend actionable improvements to the sourcing workflow.
A candidate-first philosophy that balances speed, quality, and experience, ensuring that candidates feel respected and valued throughout the process.
Strong understanding of employment law, equal opportunity regulations, and ethical sourcing practices to ensure full compliance in all hiring activities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to build trust with stakeholders, negotiate competing priorities, and represent Plaid professionally.
Nice to have
Fluency in Product Management disciplines such as consumer, platform, growth, infrastructure, or API products, allowing for more precise sourcing and messaging.
Experience with longer-term networking strategies, including hosting events, dinners, and conference strategies, to build robust talent communities over time.
Practical notes
This role is full-time and based in the United States.
The position may involve occasional travel to meet with hiring teams, attend industry conferences, or participate in talent communities as needed.
