About the role
This position is centered on enabling the Northern Europe Enterprise Sales team through rigorous analysis and strategic planning. The hire will own the development of data-driven insights that directly influence revenue generation and operational excellence. You will own the design of strategic initiatives in partnership with senior leadership to ensure alignment with company objectives. This role involves owning the monitoring of business performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement proactively. You will own the responsibility of translating complex data into coherent narratives that guide decision-making processes. The position requires ownership of cross-functional collaboration to streamline sales operations and remove barriers to growth. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in our Amsterdam office, requiring a commitment to hybrid work principles. You will own the integration of advanced tools, including AI, to enhance the efficiency and depth of strategic research.

What you'll do
- Collaborate with Northern Europe Enterprise sales leadership to design and implement operational strategies that boost productivity and revenue.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of business metrics and revenue data to identify risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Prepare and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership based on quantitative and qualitative findings.
- Manage project execution by creating work plans, synthesizing complex datasets, and coordinating with cross-functional partners like Finance, Product, and Engineering.
- Use AI tools to improve the speed and quality of strategic research and workflow efficiency.
- Support the broader international sales strategy through planning and process improvement.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards to track key performance indicators and sales health.
- Partner with Finance to conduct variance analysis and forecast accuracy reviews.
- Lead process optimization initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve sales team scalability.
- Drive the collection and analysis of competitive intelligence to inform strategic positioning.
- Establish clear documentation standards for all strategic initiatives and operational workflows.
- Liaise with Product teams to provide feedback based on sales data and market feedback.
- Mentor junior analysts on best practices for data interpretation and presentation.
- Ensure all strategic recommendations are aligned with Pinterest's long-term business goals.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in strategy and operations within highly analytical environments such as tech, media, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, economics, or a related field.
- Ability to manage large datasets and translate technical findings into clear business strategies.
- Proven track record of driving impact within fast-paced, complex organizations.
- Experience working with AI tools for research and analysis while maintaining high accuracy.
- Must be able to work from the Amsterdam office at least one day per week.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey insights to executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
