Role: Strategic Success Advisor at Pigment
Introduction
Pigment is an AI-powered platform engineered to redefine business planning and performance management. Our solution connects people, data, and processes within a single, intuitive interface, enabling organizations to build, adapt, and align strategic plans in real time. We serve a global clientele, including industry leaders such as Unilever, Snowflake, Siemens, and DPD. Founded in 2019, we are one of the world's fastest-growing SaaS companies, having raised nearly $400M from top-tier investors. Our team, numbering over 600 professionals across Paris, London, New York, Toronto, San Francisco, and Austin, operates with agility and purpose. We are recognized on the 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Financial Planning Software, and we actively challenge the status quo while celebrating bold ideas. This document outlines a specific opportunity within our Success Advisory organization.
This role is a hybrid technical and client-facing position designed for a strategic partner. You will work directly with Pigment's most critical accounts, guiding them to unlock the platform's full potential. The position blends deep technical design with high-level advisory, requiring comfort in both building multidimensional models and advising C-suite executives. You will be instrumental in redefining AI-assisted advisory, using artificial intelligence to amplify the impact of a focused expert team.
Location and Compensation
The role is based in San Francisco and operates under a full-time engagement model. The compensation package includes a base salary of $160,000 USD, with a target total compensation of $230,000 USD. Equity participation is offered at 0.25 percent.
Core Responsibilities
You will own the end-to-end journey for key strategic accounts, ensuring they derive maximum value from the Pigment platform. This involves guiding clients through complex implementation and adoption phases, reshaping their approach to planning with AI support.
Your primary duties include designing workflow blueprints that streamline platform adoption and facilitate smooth activation. You will configure model structures and assist with data uploads, ensuring teams can adapt the platform to evolving planning demands. You will lead executive reviews, translating ambiguous business questions into precise model logic and ensuring scenarios remain aligned with client objectives.
A significant part of the role involves championing advanced platform features. You will conduct hands-on sessions, demonstrating to customers how AI extends the capabilities of a strategic advisory team. You will coordinate cross-functional inputs, ensuring HR metrics and finance assumptions coexist harmoniously within a single, unified planning environment.
You will also track platform usage patterns, identify expansion opportunities, and propose initiatives to deepen client engagement over time. Maintaining solution integrity is crucial; you will document configurations meticulously and ensure changes remain reliable as models evolve. Finally, you will collaborate with internal technical and product experts to resolve complex issues, escalating when necessary while maintaining client momentum.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must bring three to five years of experience advising executive stakeholders within complex and dynamic environments. A proven ability to build and adapt models is essential for guiding clients through critical structure and logic decisions.
You must possess comfort with dimensional modeling and data flows, allowing you to configure solutions that serve evolving business plans. Clear communication with finance leaders is a prerequisite, as you will translate their needs into actionable model setups. A solid understanding of planning cycles and performance management enables you to provide practical guidance that drives real adoption.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with global customers across multiple time zones is highly valued for fostering effective cross-regional collaboration. Familiarity with planning, reporting, and business intelligence concepts provides a helpful foundation for this work.
Core Tools and Skills
Success in this role requires proficiency in Pigment, AI, SQL, Python, Git, REST API, Jira, and Confluence.
