Mid-Market Account Executive
The Mid-Market Account Executive owns the complete customer lifecycle for mid-market clients. This responsibility spans from the initial point of contact through to expansion and renewal. The daily workflow requires close collaboration with data experts and planners who utilize modern analytical tools. The role focuses on assisting these teams in reshaping their budgeting and forecasting methodologies. This is achieved through the delivery of connected insights and the construction of a clear, logical narrative.
Key Responsibilities
A primary duty involves designing intake sessions. These sessions are structured to uncover specific workflow requirements before any solution is conceptualized. Following this, the executive will orchestrate the build phase. This involves configuring models directly within the Pigment platform to facilitate accurate scenario testing.
The role includes guiding critical review checkpoints. During these sessions, stakeholders are responsible for validating the underlying logic and confirming alignment with established targets. Another core function is championing the processes that transition plans from design to live operational use. This involves the documentation of best practices to ensure consistency.
The executive must also forge strong partnerships with implementation colleagues. The goal is to streamline handoffs and accelerate the adoption of the platform. Enabling partners is another key duty, achieved by supplying clear and compelling materials. These materials must articulate the distinct value proposition and differentiate the Pigment solution.
Tracking field signals is essential for continuous improvement. The executive will gather this feedback so that product teams can identify which enhancements will have the greatest impact. also, maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunity is a central task. This includes the diligent documentation of outcomes and lessons learned, which are then used to refine future sales strategies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will actively prospect within mid-market segments. These are segments where planning maturity is developing but has not yet reached a fixed state. The role requires close coordination with technical specialists. This collaboration is necessary to resolve questions concerning the behavior of complex models.
Adapting messaging is a critical skill. The executive must tailor communication so it resonates with leaders who are balancing cost, speed, and the need for strategic clarity. All communication must be delivered in professional English, both written and spoken, to a diverse audience. A minimum of three years of experience selling software to commercial customers is mandatory.
