Senior EPM Consultant
Job description
About the role
Senior EPM Consultant Opportunity at Pigment
Position overview
We are seeking a Senior EPM Consultant to join our practice and play a critical role in guiding executive clients through sophisticated business planning using the Pigment platform. In this position, you will serve as a strategic advisor, translating complex operational requirements into coherent scenario models and actionable reports. You will own the end to end engagement lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirement gathering through solution validation to executive sign off. A core part of this role is enabling teams to transition from static, periodic reporting toward dynamic, data driven decision making embedded in daily workflows. This position operates within a global context, working alongside some of the world's largest organizations and influencing how planning platforms are adopted at scale.
Day to day responsibilities
Your daily work will focus on understanding client workflows and identifying data integration touchpoints to establish a clear picture of current state and future state planning needs. You will design scenario models and dashboards that directly reflect client strategy, ensuring that Pigment configurations align with business intent and deliver transparent insight. A significant portion of the role involves crafting narrative driven storylines that highlight value through Pigment visualizations and clear logic flows. You will lead collaborative sessions where stakeholders can test assumptions interactively inside the platform, building confidence in proposed designs. You will coordinate solution proposals that balance technical constraints with client expectations, documenting trade offs and implications clearly. As models evolve, you will guide configuration reviews to ensure ongoing maintainability and scalability as business rules change. You will also support rollout activities, embedding new models and processes into client performance routines and operating cadences. Finally, you will champion feedback loops, capturing user insights and translating them into product improvements that benefit the broader Pigment ecosystem over time.
What you must bring
This role requires experience managing complex planning initiatives that involve close collaboration with finance and operations teams. You must understand how to structure models so that they remain reliable and coherent even as business rules and data sources evolve. You should be able to communicate confidently with both technical and non technical audiences, adjusting language and depth of detail to suit the listener. You will bring a minimum of three years of hands on experience using enterprise planning systems in project based environments. A solid grasp of data models, mappings, and dimensional design concepts is essential to succeed in this role. You must demonstrate comfort managing ambiguity while consistently delivering concrete results against firm deadlines and expectations.
Preferred experience and skills
Having worked with global enterprises and coordinated across multiple regions will significantly strengthen your contributions in this role. Exposure to large scale transformation programs and change management practices is valuable. The role requires fluency in core tools and technologies, specifically Pigment for modeling and configuration, and SQL for data exploration and validation. You will apply these tools to solve practical problems while adhering to best practices for performance, scalability, and documentation.
Compensation and location
This position is based in France and involves client project work in a consulting capacity. The target annual compensation range for this role is 130,000 to 160,000 EUR, reflecting the scope, responsibility, and impact of the role within enterprise planning engagements. Exact details regarding contractual terms, billing structures, and project specific variables will be confirmed Why join Pigment
