About the role
You will own the end-to-end sales cycle for enterprise clients located within the East Region of the United States, driving revenue growth from initial discovery to final contract signature. You will position Pigment as the AI-powered business planning platform that unifies people, data, and processes into a single, agile solution for performance management. You will act as the primary strategic advisor for c-suite stakeholders, helping them navigate complex planning challenges with data confidence. You will leverage Pigment's real-time collaboration and scenario modeling capabilities to uncover client pain points and quantify business impact. You will coordinate tightly with Customer Success and Technical teams to ensure solution fit and smooth post-sale onboarding. You will build and maintain executive-level relationships, becoming a trusted advisor that influences long-term strategic planning. You will articulate how Pigment's AI capabilities enable faster, more informed decisions across finance, HR, and operations. You will consistently represent the company's values of challenging the status quo while working as one integrated team.

What you'll do
Identify and qualify new enterprise opportunities within the East Region by analyzing market segments and mapping strategic buyer personas.
Develop consultative discovery sessions that reveal critical business planning gaps and quantify the cost of disconnected tools and spreadsheets.
Champion Pigment's vision to every stakeholder, aligning their strategic planning roadmap with the platform's real-time agility and scalability.
Architect tailored business cases that highlight ROI through reduced planning cycles, improved forecast accuracy, and enhanced cross-functional alignment.
Navigate complex committee and executive reviews by presenting compelling narratives supported by live data scenarios and interactive modeling.
Collaborate with Customer Success to design outcomes-based implementation plans that ensure rapid adoption and measurable value realization.
Own the commercial negotiation and contracting process, working with Legal and Finance to structure agreements that protect margin and support growth.
Maintain precise pipeline documentation and forecasting accuracy using internal CRM tools to provide transparent revenue visibility to leadership.
Partner with Marketing to develop impactful success stories and reference programs that accelerate enterprise adoption within target verticals.
Educate internal stakeholders on Pigment's AI features, enabling teams to build, adapt, and align strategic plans without relying on IT bottlenecks.
Champion feedback from the field to product teams, highlighting emerging use cases and competitive threats in the enterprise planning software market.
Represent Pigment at industry conferences and executive briefings, reinforcing our position as a leader in next-generation business planning platforms.
Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts by uncovering new use cases for scenario planning, workforce modeling, and resource allocation.
Serve as a bridge between sales, implementation, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and superior client experiences across all touchpoints.
Requirements
You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, finance, or a related field.
You must possess a proven track record of selling enterprise software solutions, ideally within the $50K to multi-million deal range.
You must have at least five years of experience in a consultative sales role focused on complex B2B transactions.
You must demonstrate fluency in articulating business value and ROI to executive stakeholders, including CFOs, COOs, and VPs of Operations.
You must have hands-on experience with data-driven planning, budgeting, or financial modeling tools that serve large organizations.
You must be comfortable navigating ambiguous enterprise environments where decision-making involves multiple stakeholders and committees.
You must have a history of exceeding quota and delivering consistent, predictable revenue growth in prior roles.
You must hold the right to work in the United States without sponsorship at this time.
You must be willing to travel up to 25% within the United States for client meetings, industry events, and internal training sessions.
You must be able to relocate to one of our key U.S. hubs, including New York, San Francisco, or Austin, to ensure optimal collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
Experience with AI-powered planning, finance, or performance management platforms is strongly preferred.
Background in industries such as consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, or logistics is highly relevant.
Prior success selling through channel partners or indirect go-to-market motions.
Practical notes
This role requires a minimum of 25% travel across the United States for client engagements, industry conferences, and internal training sessions.
You must be able to relocate to one of our key U.S. hubs, including New York, San Francisco, or Austin, to maintain alignment with team collaboration and operational expectations.
This position is full-time and requires consistent availability during standard business hours to engage with clients across time zones.
