What you'll do
- Conduct thorough oil changes and fluid replacements for various vehicle makes and models, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform inspections on vehicles to identify any potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance services to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including oil types used and mileage, to ensure proper tracking of customer vehicle history.
- Assist in the management of inventory, including ordering and restocking oil and other essential supplies to ensure the shop is well-equipped.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and maintenance techniques to provide the best service possible.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the automotive field.
- Assist in the training of new staff members, sharing your expertise and best practices to foster a supportive work environment.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform basic repairs as needed, escalating more complex problems to senior technicians.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive training or certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in automotive maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and components, particularly in relation to lubrication and fluid maintenance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; the ability to operate various types of vehicles is essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
