About the role
The owns the analysis, design, and technical configuration of HR processes within the HRMS and related applications in partnership with the People & Talent team. This role is responsible for ensuring that system implementations, upgrades, and maintenance activities adhere strictly to project schedules while preserving data integrity and system compliance. The position acts as a key technical point-of-contact for the HRMS, supporting subject matter experts with testing, data validation, and process troubleshooting. You will routinely analyze data flows and system integrations to identify improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence. This role also involves designing and documenting technical processes to ensure clarity and consistency across HR operations. You will support the full lifecycle of HRMS initiatives from discovery through rollout, ensuring seamless adoption and ongoing reliability.

What you'll do
- Monitor, audit, maintain and troubleshoot current HRMS system and data, ensuring data integrity and system compliance across all modules.
- Provide end-user support by researching and resolving HRMS issues in a timely and thorough manner to minimize business disruption.
- Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches to ensure smooth transitions and minimal risk.
- Routinely analyze data inputs and outputs, requests, and processes to identify inconsistencies and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Integrate HRMS data with other People & Talent applications through integrations, imports, APIs, and other technical methods.
- Partner with the L&OD team to create system training materials and supporting job aids that enhance user adoption and proficiency.
- Support and perform discovery, business requirements review, system configuration, data conversion, testing, and rollout activities related to a new HRMS implementation from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the People & Talent team to coordinate the application of upgraded functionality, exploring opportunities to streamline and automate manual steps.
- Design and document system and technical processes, identifying clear expectations, dependencies, and expected results for future reference.
- Partner with other subject matter experts to devise solutions that are moderate to complex in scope while exercising independent evaluation and judgment.
- Fulfill standard ongoing and ad-hoc data requests by writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports using appropriate reporting tools.
- Establish and document audit procedures for validating and correcting People & Talent data to ensure accuracy and consistency over time.
- Maintain and provide regular People Analytics data by updating dashboards and designing new metrics as requested by stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of HRMS and related systems.
Requirements
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED as a mandatory requirement; a Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
- Possess 4 or more years of Analyst experience in HRIS or People Operations with direct involvement in HRIS Administration, system configuration, or implementation duties.
- Have prior experience with HRMS Administration on platforms such as Workday, UKG, ADP, or Namely, along with reporting tools and data analysis capabilities.
- Demonstrate the ability to translate business objectives and user needs into technical configurations and precise data requirements.
- Show natural curiosity in identifying and solving for unexpected results and process flaws with exceptional attention to detail in all tasks.
- Apply a strong analytical approach when developing appropriate solutions that align with business needs and technical constraints.
- Exhibit excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bring experience with at least one full cycle HRMS implementation or migration from initial planning through execution and closeout.
- Be proficient in compiling data from multiple sources in Excel and Google Sheets using pivot tables, V-lookups, and advanced formulas.
- Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and company data.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Commit to working collaboratively within cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
- Adapt to changing priorities and requirements while maintaining a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate execution of duties.
Nice to have
- Preferred experience with Workday as a primary HRMS platform.
- Background in supporting global HRMS implementations across multiple regions or jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI for advanced reporting.
- Experience automating manual processes using scripting or workflow tools.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to HR data and reporting.
