What you'll do
Orchestrate the creation of exceptional and captivating content for Consumer and Enterprise use cases, spanning email copy, social media posts, in-product microcopy, support documentation, FAQs, video scripts, case studies, white papers, outbound sales emails, onboarding sequences, and blog articles.
Champion the development of a unique voice and tone for all written materials at Perplexity, establishing a distinct personality that drives word-of-mouth growth and cultivates a devoted, engaged community of users and followers.
Hunt for and identify untapped content opportunities by immersing yourself in user generated content across Perplexity and authentic testimonials harvested from social media channels and community forums.
Translate intricate AI-related topics, feature releases, and technical updates into understandable and digestible copy that retains clarity and excitement for a non-technical, consumer-facing audience without sacrificing accuracy.
Own the end-to-end management of content calendars for external communication, coordinating schedules and narratives across email campaigns, newsletter editions, and social media posts to ensure consistent storytelling.
Establish a rigorous framework for tracking content performance using Google Analytics alongside internal data dashboards, analyzing engagement metrics deeply to iterate and optimize headlines, structures, and calls to action for maximum impact.
Collaborate seamlessly with our Design and Brand teams to ensure all written materials adhere to evolving visual and identity guidelines while enhancing the overall aesthetic coherence of our communications.
Elevate the standard of B2B content marketing by architecting zero-to-one content such as newsletters, long-form blogs, and foundational company assets that support enterprise sales motions and thought leadership goals.
Become the central liaison for content operations, aligning with Support and Customer Success to develop help pages, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles that reduce friction and improve the user journey.
Drive the collection and integration of social proof into our content strategy, transforming user stories and testimonials into powerful narratives that validate our product and accelerate trust with prospects.
Maintain strict quality control through exhaustive writing, editing, and proofreading processes, ensuring every piece of content reflects professionalism, clarity, and a distinct Perplexity personality before it reaches the public.
Explore innovative formats and experimental content structures that keep our messaging fresh and engaging, testing new approaches in a fast-paced environment where agility is essential.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and constraints, translating business objectives into content deliverables that meet strategic deadlines and support revenue initiatives.

Requirements
Bring a minimum of 4 years of professional content writing and strategy experience, ideally honed within a consumer technology brand that moves quickly and thinks boldly.
Demonstrate world-class writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, crafting copy with a unique voice and tone that feels intentional and polished in every scenario.
Show extreme attention to detail while thriving in a fast-paced environment, balancing meticulous accuracy with the ability to execute demanding workloads efficiently.
Prove a track record of 0-to-1 development for B2B content marketing, newsletters, blogs, and foundational company materials that establish thought leadership and authority.
Exhibit comfort working with international brands and navigating complex requirements for multiple languages, even if your proficiency is primarily in understanding and collaborating with diverse linguistic teams.
Possess strong analytical skills, using data to inform content decisions and validate hypotheses about what resonates with target audiences across different segments.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear explanations for content choices and collaborating transparently with designers, engineers, and executives.
