About the role
PermitFlow is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Account Executives dedicated to high-value construction technology sales. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, executing strategic sales initiatives, and contributing to the overall enterprise sales strategy within a rapidly evolving market. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving executives, operators, and procurement teams across various business units. You will play a key role in expanding PermitFlow's market presence by building strong relationships with large clients and guiding your team through intricate sales processes. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to modern sales tools, automation, and AI to optimize performance and streamline workflows. As part of your responsibilities, you will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Solutions, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to ensure alignment and successful execution of sales strategies. The role involves significant travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and visit corporate headquarters as needed, emphasizing the on-site nature of this position in New York City, NY.

What you'll do
- Manage your team's revenue targets, forecast accuracy, and daily activities for assigned accounts, utilizing data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Sales Director to develop and implement segment-specific strategies, ensuring a consistent and effective approach across the team.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop Account Executives, fostering a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, trust, and continuous improvement.
- Standardize and enhance sales processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and overall enterprise operations within PermitFlow.
- Lead your team through complex negotiations involving multiple stakeholders, including executives, operators, and procurement professionals across various business units.
- Actively pursue new client acquisition opportunities while expanding relationships within existing large accounts, converting pilot projects into broad, strategic partnerships.
- Work closely with Solutions, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to align sales efforts, share insights, and ensure customer experiences.
- Develop compelling business cases emphasizing return on investment (ROI) and present these to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders to facilitate deal closures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts, pipeline health, and deal visibility throughout extended sales cycles, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Share customer feedback and field insights with leadership to influence product development, market strategies, and the overall enterprise roadmap.

Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, demonstrating a strong understanding of complex sales cycles and high-value deal management.
- At least 1 to 2 or more years of experience in a management or team-lead role, with a proven ability to develop and scale sales teams.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding revenue targets and scaling sales operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in managing relationships with executives, procurement teams, and multiple business units, especially in large enterprise settings.
- Comfortable leading and closing deals valued at over $1 million, with a track record of success in high-stakes negotiations.
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, sales automation tools, and performance analytics platforms.
- Strong ability to identify operational challenges, craft ROI-driven solutions, and communicate value propositions effectively.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, especially with senior-level stakeholders in Product, Marketing, and other relevant departments.
- Driven by a passion to transform the construction industry through innovative technology solutions and scalable sales strategies.
- Ability to work on-site in New York City, NY, with the willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

- Prior experience in construction technology, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry.
- Background working with home services contractors, general contractors, developers, or related sectors such as PropTech, InsurTech, or Field Service software.
