About the role
You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Futures & Options (F&O) and derivatives products on Paytm Money, driving strategy and execution from discovery to optimization. You will define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap that balances customer needs, business objectives, and strict regulatory frameworks. You will partner deeply with engineering, design, risk, compliance, operations, brokerage, and marketing teams to design, build, and launch seamless trading experiences. You will conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and customer interviews to uncover opportunities and shape product direction. You will translate insights into detailed PRDs, wireframes, user journeys, and acceptance criteria that guide cross-functional execution. You will focus on building low-latency, high-reliability order placement and execution flows that deliver a superior trader experience. You will ensure adherence to SEBI, NSE, BSE, and Clearing Corporation regulations regarding margins, risk disclosures, and suitability norms. You will use data to drive acquisition, activation, engagement, and revenue growth through experimentation and continuous optimization.

What you'll do
- Own the complete product lifecycle for F&O products including Index & Stock Futures, Equity & Index Options, Option Chain, Strategy Builder, Basket Orders, Multi-leg Orders, GTT Orders, Margin Calculator, Position Management, and P&L Analytics.
- Define product vision, roadmap, and strategy aligned with customer needs, business goals, and evolving regulatory requirements for the derivatives market.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, risk, compliance, operations, brokerage, marketing, and business teams to deliver robust trading features and experiences.
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, customer interviews, and trading behavior analysis to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Translate research findings into detailed PRDs, wireframes, user journeys, API specifications, and clear acceptance criteria.
- Architect seamless, low-latency, high-reliability order placement and execution experiences for active traders.
- Ensure strict compliance with SEBI, NSE, BSE, Clearing Corporation, and exchange regulations covering margins, peak margin, risk disclosures, and suitability norms.
- Drive measurable improvements in acquisition, activation, engagement, trading frequency, and revenue through experimentation and data-driven decisions.
- Define success metrics, monitor product performance, and optimize funnels using analytics and user insights.
- Stay current on derivatives market trends, exchange circulars, microstructure changes, and evolving trader behavior.
- Partner with risk and compliance to implement controls that protect users while enabling frictionless trading experiences.
- Leverage domain expertise in options pricing, Greeks, volatility, and payoff strategies to inform product decisions.
Requirements
- Bring a minimum of 3 years of overall professional experience to this role.
- Possess at least 1 year of hands-on experience in F&O, Derivatives, Broking, Capital Markets, or WealthTech Product Management.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the derivatives lifecycle, including order flows, margin systems, RMS, clearing and settlement processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Show prior experience working with digital trading platforms or capital market products is essential.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions in a complex environment.
- Exhibit excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, with experience authoring detailed product requirement documents.

- Show experience building Option Chain interfaces, Option Greeks displays, Strategy Builder tools, Basket Orders workflows, Margin Calculators, TradingView integrations, and advanced charting components.
- Demonstrate knowledge of options pricing, the role of Greeks, volatility surfaces, and various payoff strategies.
- Have familiarity with exchange APIs, OMS/RMS architecture, market data systems, and real-time trading infrastructure.
- Show experience scaling B2C fintech or trading products using product-led growth strategies.
