What you'll do
- Lead the development and growth of innovative financial services in collaboration with group companies such as PayPay Securities, PayPay Card, and PayPay Insurance.
- Engage directly with senior management within the bank to facilitate swift decision-making and effective project management.
- Identify and analyze market trends to inform the strategic direction of new service offerings within the retail banking sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user-centric financial services that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote new financial products and services to a diverse user base.
- Monitor and assess the performance of financial services, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize offerings.
- Drive initiatives aimed at integrating emerging technologies into the financial service ecosystem to enhance operational efficiency.
- Foster relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support service development and growth.
- Participate in the creation of a compelling financial ecosystem that positions PayPay as a leader in the fintech space.

Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or service development within the financial services sector, particularly in retail banking.
- Strong understanding of the financial ecosystem, including credit cards, loans, securities, and insurance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning and marketing initiatives for new financial products.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to structure complex problems and communicate findings effectively.
- Proficient in engaging and collaborating with diverse teams across different cultures and backgrounds.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to navigate regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to the banking sector.
- Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English, with a focus on clarity and persuasion.

Practical notes
- This position is a full-time role with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring flexibility to work from the office or remotely based on departmental guidelines.
- The working hours follow a super-flexible model without core hours, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM, with a total of 7 hours and 45 minutes of work each day.
- Employees are entitled to weekends, public holidays, and company-designated days off, along with statutory leave and additional personal leave for personal matters.
- Compensation is structured as an annual salary, which includes a portion for fixed overtime, and is determined based on experience, skills, and contributions to the company, with annual reviews.
