PayPay is on the lookout for a strategic planning and promotion expert to elevate our sales initiatives through insightful data analysis. This position plays a vital role in aligning our business goals with effective sales strategies, enabling us to enhance our corporate value and fulfill our objectives in collaboration with partner merchants.

What you'll do

• Conduct thorough analysis and visualization of sales data to pinpoint successful strategies and outcomes.
• Identify challenges within sales processes and generate actionable improvement ideas based on data insights.
• Assist in the formulation and proposal of initiatives aimed at refining sales strategies and enhancing operational processes.
• Assess the impact of various measures implemented to optimize revenue and profit margins.

• Prepare and present reports that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proficient in data extraction and aggregation using SQL, with a focus on basic analysis rather than complex queries.
• Demonstrated capability to suggest operational enhancements based on quantitative data and performance metrics.
• Experience in managing projects and driving them forward through effective communication with various stakeholders.
• Background in strategic planning within a corporate or consulting context, with the ability to engage and motivate team members.
• A keen interest in analyzing data to uncover root causes and core issues affecting sales performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data and its implications.

Nice to have

• Experience in designing performance metrics such as Lifetime Value (LTV) or Return on Investment (ROI) and conducting assessments of their effectiveness.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Sigma for effective data visualization.
• Practical knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and analytical frameworks.
• Previous involvement in launching new business ventures or entering new market segments.
• Understanding of sales processes and methodologies in the fintech or digital payment sectors.

Skills & tools

• SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

• Super flexible hours (no core time).
• Standard hours: 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM (7 hours and 45 minutes of work plus 1 hour of break).
