Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at broadening the financial ecosystem available to PayPay users, ensuring it meets their evolving needs.
- Identify project requirements and manage initiatives from the initial concept through to completion, aligning them with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and feedback that will inform service enhancements and new offerings.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the financial services landscape.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, detailing project status, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Foster relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance service offerings and expand market reach.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all initiatives adhere to legal standards.
Requirements
- A solid background in planning, launching, or scaling business or service initiatives that involve system development, with a focus on financial services.
- Demonstrated project management expertise, including the ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to a variety of audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Nice to have
- Experience in business development within the card, banking, or securities sectors, along with a solid understanding of relevant regulations and compliance issues.
- A keen interest in emerging technologies and their application within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in business English, with a TOEIC score of 800 or above, to facilitate effective communication in a global context.
Skills & tools
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, particularly those relevant to financial services, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to present findings in a clear and compelling manner to stakeholders.
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
Practical notes

Employment Type: Full-time employee.
- Work Style: Hybrid, with in-office attendance as required by team policies.
- Working Hours: Flexible work system (no core hours), typically from 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM, encompassing 7 hours and 45 minutes of work plus a 1-hour break.
- Holidays: Enjoy weekends, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, as well as designated company days off.
- Leave: Annual paid leave of 14 days in the first year, prorated based on the month of joining, in addition to personal leave of 5 days annually (with 3 or 5 days granted in the first year depending on the joining month).

Salary: The compensation structure is based on an annual salary system (which includes some fixed overtime pay), determined by experience, skills, performance, and contributions, with annual performance reviews. Overtime and night shift allowances are also provided.
