About the role
PayPay is seeking a Partner Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will focus on acquiring new partner merchants and enhancing payment volume through strategic collaboration with various partner companies, including e-commerce platforms and major infrastructure firms. Your responsibilities will encompass developing proposals and initiatives that drive the expansion of PayPay's services, particularly in the online and offline payment sectors. Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with partner companies to devise and implement strategies that increase PayPay's merchant acquisition and payment transaction volume.
- Analyze partner performance metrics and utilize your knowledge of e-commerce to identify challenges and propose tailored solutions.
- Promote the use of PayPay among merchants post-implementation, suggesting additional value-added services.
- Address daily operational inquiries related to contracts, system integrations, and application statuses from partner companies.
- Lead new initiatives as a project manager, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure successful execution.
- Engage with local governments and utilities to enhance the adoption of PayPay's invoice payment services, exploring innovative methods to maximize its presence in the market.
- Propose the benefits of PayPay's invoice payment solutions to potential clients, such as utility companies and municipalities, driving their adoption.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aimed at increasing usage among existing clients, ensuring they choose PayPay as their preferred payment method.
- Continuously assess and propose strategies to enhance the profitability of PayPay's invoice payment services and improve user convenience.
- Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT and others to streamline operations and enhance strategic planning.
Requirements
- Experience in corporate sales or agency sales, preferably in a solution-oriented environment where you address client challenges.
- Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and functions) and PowerPoint, with at least one year of practical experience.
- Familiarity with project planning and execution, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on using data to inform decision-making.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and a desire to drive business growth through innovative ideas.
Nice to have
- Experience utilizing AI tools such as GPTs, Gem, or Notebook LM for business purposes.
- Proficiency in business-level English.
- Previous experience in payment-related services, particularly in e-commerce.
- Background in startup environments, demonstrating agility in a fast-paced setting.

Employment Type: Full-time employee.
- Work Style: Hybrid, with flexibility to work from the office or remotely based on departmental guidelines.
- Working Hours: Super flex system with core hours; standard hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM (7 hours and 45 minutes of work plus a one-hour break).
- Holidays: Weekends, public holidays, and designated company holidays.
- Paid Leave: 14 days of annual leave in the first year, prorated based on the month of joining; personal leave of five days per year for personal matters, including family or pet health issues.

Salary: Annual salary system, including a portion of fixed overtime pay, determined based on experience, skills, performance, and contributions, with annual reviews.
