What you'll do
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance PayPay's corporate image.
- Create, write, and distribute press releases, ensuring timely and accurate communication with media outlets.
- Collaborate with various group companies, including SoftBank and LINE Yahoo, to coordinate external announcements and public communications.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including the Companies Act and the Payment Services Act, in all public relations activities.

- Conduct internal awareness campaigns to educate employees about public relations strategies and the importance of corporate communication.

- Participate in cross-functional teams to align public relations efforts with broader business objectives and marketing campaigns.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of experience in external public relations, focusing on corporate or service-related communication.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective communication strategies that enhance brand reputation.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling press materials and content for diverse audiences.
- Experience in managing media relations and securing coverage in various outlets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance issues related to public communication in the fintech sector.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English, with experience in communicating with international media.

- Strong proficiency in communication tools and platforms, including social media management and content creation software.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, for reporting and presentations.
- Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Understanding of SEO principles to enhance the visibility of online content.
Practical notes
- This position is offered as a full-time role with a hybrid working style, requiring attendance at the Tokyo office in Yotsuya approximately three times a week.
- The working hours follow a super-flexible system without core hours, with the standard schedule being 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM, including a one-hour break.
- The company observes weekends, public holidays, and designated company holidays as days off.
