What you'll do
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance vendor performance and compliance with PartsSource standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to assess vendor capabilities and align them with organizational needs.
- Conduct regular evaluations of vendor performance metrics to ensure adherence to quality and service expectations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing for PartsSource.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor-related inquiries and concerns, facilitating effective communication.
- Analyze market trends and vendor offerings to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved service delivery.
- Organize and lead vendor meetings to discuss performance, expectations, and new initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive records of vendor interactions, agreements, and performance assessments.
- Work cross-functionally with procurement, finance, and operations teams to streamline vendor processes and enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements that affect vendor management in healthcare.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing beneficial contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to leverage insights for decision-making.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards related to vendor operations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing vendor-related issues.

- Experience with vendor management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare technology management and asset performance optimization.
- Professional certifications in supply chain management or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).
- Previous experience working in a startup or fast-growing organization within the healthcare industry.

Practical notes
- This position is based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office, and may require occasional travel to meet with vendors and attend industry conferences.
