About the role
In the position of Marketing Development Representative (MDR) at Parloa, you will serve as the initial contact for potential customers who engage with our brand. This role is in transforming inbound interest into qualified leads for our sales team while also supporting the field marketing efforts. Your focus will be on ensuring that every prospective client has a positive and informative first interaction with Parloa, blending marketing and sales skills to meet customer needs effectively.

What you'll do
- Respond to and qualify incoming leads generated from various marketing initiatives such as web traffic, events, and campaigns.
- Engage with potential customers through multiple channels including email, phone, and social media to identify their business challenges and objectives.
- Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to evaluate the fit, urgency, and intent to purchase from prospects.
- Schedule meetings for Account Executives with qualified leads to facilitate the sales process.
- Maintain precise records of all interactions and engagements within the CRM system, specifically Salesforce.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to provide insights on lead quality and the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Continuously enhance messaging and outreach strategies based on feedback and insights gathered from prospects.
- Strive to meet and exceed monthly goals related to the generation of qualified opportunities and contributions to the sales pipeline.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Market Development Representative (MDR), or a similar customer-facing role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A customer-centric approach with the capacity to ask insightful and probing questions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to manage multiple inbound conversations concurrently.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot, as well as sales engagement platforms, is advantageous.
- A genuine interest in artificial intelligence, customer experience, or enterprise technology.

- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Knowledge of conversational AI and its applications in customer service.
- Familiarity with lead generation tools and techniques.

- The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $108,000 USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
