About the role
This role centers on owning the end-to-end video production workflow for Paradox's flagship YouTube channels, transforming complex personal development concepts into high-impact visual stories. You will be responsible for creating authoritative educational content, conducting high-level creative direction, and ensuring every edit aligns with the brand's cinematic standards. The position demands a proactive mindset that leverages AI not as a replacement for craft, but as a strategic accelerator for storytelling efficiency. You will collaborate closely with founders and guests to shape narratives that resonate deeply with millions of viewers worldwide. What you'll do
- Produce 1 authoritative educational face cam video monthly for David Laroche FR, embedding music, animations, and b-roll to simplify complex ideas and captivate audiences.
- Edit 2 celebrity or expert interviews monthly for Paradox Sans Filtre and 1 CEO or expert interview for Paradox Business, focusing on smooth audio mixes and multicam video to provide a seamless viewing experience.
- Craft Hollywood-style trailers designed to hook viewers instantly and amplify the reach of each interview release.
- Leverage AI in your workflow, actively using AI-assisted editing tools such as auto-transcription, rough-cut assembly, and AI captioning or b-roll generation to speed up production.
- Drive proactive brainstorming sessions, introducing original ideas that guide editing style and visual language across all channels while preserving distinct brand identities.
- Uphold Netflix or cinema-level quality standards by adhering to specific checklists for color grading, sound design, and pacing.
- Analyze performance data and viewer feedback to iteratively refine content strategy and editorial decisions for maximum impact.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to align video releases with marketing campaigns and major brand milestones.
- Continuously scout emerging formats and technologies that can be integrated into the storytelling process without compromising clarity or emotional resonance.
- Act as the primary editorial guardian of Paradox's visual narrative, ensuring every frame communicates awe, clarity, and sophistication.
Requirements
- You have more than 2 years of YouTube video editing experience, capable of independently tackling complex editing challenges across various software platforms.
- You are excelling at Adobe Premiere Pro, with advanced knowledge of dynamic sequences, nested timelines, and efficient media management.
- You demonstrate fluency in French and English, ensuring precise communication and high-level collaboration across international teams.
- You possess an eagle's eye for detail, consistently delivering error-free content that meets rigorous quality standards.
- You view artificial intelligence as a collaborator rather than a threat, actively integrating AI-assisted tools into your daily workflow.
- You live and breathe YouTube culture, staying immersed in platform trends, algorithm shifts, and emerging creator strategies.

Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in our office in Dubai, with flexibility for remote or hybrid arrangements. The role operates on a standard full-time schedule with expectations around timely delivery and active participation in collaborative sessions. Travel is generally minimal but may be required for brand events or on-location shoots. Candidates must hold a valid visa or be eligible to work in the United Arab Emirates.
