What you'll do

• Develop and implement IAM policies and procedures to ensure the security of user identities and access privileges across all systems.
• Conduct regular audits of user access rights to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate IAM solutions into existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents related to identity and access management, providing timely resolutions and reporting.
• Provide training and support to staff on IAM best practices and tools, fostering a culture of security awareness.
• Evaluate and recommend IAM tools and technologies that align with the organization's security strategy and operational needs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements for IAM projects and ensure that solutions meet business objectives.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in identity and access management, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, frameworks, and best practices, including user provisioning, authentication, and access control.
• Experience with IAM tools and technologies, such as Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to identity management, such as GDPR or HIPAA.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex security issues.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM).
• Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions and integration with SaaS applications.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation of IAM processes.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in IAM software and tools, including user provisioning and identity governance solutions.
• Understanding of security protocols and technologies, such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with directory services, such as Active Directory or LDAP.
• Knowledge of risk management and security assessment methodologies.
