Staff Software Engineer, Identity and Access Platform
Job description
About the role
You will own the design and execution of the core identity and access platform that secures every interaction within our agentic AI ecosystem. This role requires you to architect and implement the foundational services that enable secure authentication, robust authorization, and seamless user lifecycle management at global scale. You will be responsible for the end-to-end reliability, performance, and correctness of critical pathways including login flows, token management, and service-to-service communication. You will partner closely with security, product, and AI teams to ensure identity controls keep pace with rapid innovation and evolving compliance landscapes. Your work will directly influence the trust model that protects our customers, including enterprises such as Databricks, SAP, Siemens, and Verizon. You will drive technical strategy for identity primitives, making high-impact decisions that balance security, usability, and operational efficiency. You will mentor engineers and elevate standards by crafting high-quality, maintainable solutions that other teams depend upon. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on complex distributed systems and takes ownership of problems that span product, infrastructure, and security.
