What you'll do
- Lead the development and execution of recruitment strategies to attract top-tier healthcare providers, ensuring alignment with Oscar Health's goals and values.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and compliance, to identify recruitment needs and establish effective processes.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform recruitment strategies and improve provider engagement.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to performance metrics.
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing techniques to identify and engage potential candidates, utilizing social media, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings and candidate screening to interviews and offer negotiations, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates.
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the recruitment process, ensuring that all candidates feel valued and respected.
- Conduct training sessions for hiring managers on best practices for interviewing and selecting candidates, promoting a consistent and effective approach across the organization.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to healthcare provider recruitment, ensuring that all practices adhere to legal standards.
- Act as a mentor and leader to junior recruitment staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and career development.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to align recruitment initiatives with the broader organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on healthcare or related industries preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing recruitment processes and building strong provider networks.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and mentoring recruitment teams.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance issues related to provider recruitment.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
