You will support clients both before and after sales, acting as a trusted advisor while also serving as a key internal voice for customer needs and operational realities. This role is ideally suited for a UK real estate lawyer who is interested in applying artificial intelligence to legal work within a dynamic, high-growth environment that values clarity and impact. You will own the translation of complex legal workflows into structured, repeatable solutions that align with product strategy and client expectations. The successful candidate will leverage their depth of experience to identify inefficiencies, propose coherent improvements, and ensure that legal reasoning is embedded into scalable processes. You will work closely with product, sales, and delivery teams to shape how legal expertise is integrated into the business, influencing standards and best practices. Your contributions will directly affect how legal services are designed, delivered, and perceived by clients, requiring a balance of technical legal knowledge and commercial awareness.
Key facts
- You have approximately 4-8+ years of post-qualification experience, with a focus on depth and credibility in commercial real estate matters.
- You possess an end-to-end understanding of commercial real estate legal workflows, including acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, leasing, development, real estate finance, construction, or title reporting.
- You enjoy client-facing interactions and are comfortable advising senior stakeholders, articulating legal risks and opportunities in clear, business-oriented language.
- You can simplify complex legal work into clear, actionable steps and explain concepts to audiences with varying levels of legal knowledge.
- You are tech-literate, curious, and motivated to understand how LLM-based systems can add value, including considerations for safe adoption in legal environments and maintaining professional standards.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment, taking ownership of your work and demonstrating initiative when facing ambiguous or evolving requirements.
- You are expected to follow security policies and complete relevant awareness training in line with ISO 27001 standards to protect client data and company assets.

What you'll do
- Conduct detailed legal analysis on commercial real estate matters, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities while translating findings into practical recommendations.
- Map and document end-to-end legal workflows for real estate transactions, highlighting bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas where structured guidance can add value.
- Partner with product teams to define and refine solutions that address real client pain points, ensuring that legal considerations are embedded into product design and delivery.
- Lead client-facing sessions to understand needs, scope requirements, and align legal advice with business objectives, building trust and credibility with stakeholders.
- Translate complex legal concepts, procedures, and requirements into clear, accessible formats for both legal and non-legal audiences, supporting better decision-making.
- Facilitate workshops and enablement sessions for internal teams, improving collaboration, alignment, and shared understanding of legal processes and expectations.
- Contribute to the development of reusable legal assets, including templates, checklists, and workflow standards, to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across engagements.
- Support the creation of commercial materials such as scoping documents, proposals, and procurement responses, ensuring that legal positioning is clear, robust, and persuasive.
- Conduct market and technology research on legal tech and LLM-based tools, assessing their applicability, benefits, and risks within a professional legal context.
- Demonstrate products or solutions to clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting functionality, value, and alignment with real-world legal and business requirements.
- Provide coaching and training to internal teams on legal best practices, process improvements, and the responsible use of technology in legal work.
- Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to ensure that legal work is executed efficiently, with clear ownership, timelines, and quality standards.
- Participate in client proposals and procurement processes, contributing legal expertise to responses and supporting commercial decision-making around value and scope.
- Support ROI and benefit realization discussions, helping to quantify the impact of legal initiatives and process changes for clients and the business.
